I have never fought so viciously for my own survival.  Miss Evans’ memory returns.  Doctor Hoffman has been removed by Woodard.  And as a result of the failure of everyone on whom I rely, Miss Evans shall die most assuredly.

My only hope is to stop this flood of memories before they can destroy me.  The past, Barnabas Collins, the past.  Always your enemy.  I long for the day when the future eclipses it.  Will it ever be?  And how many futures must I extinguish before that can happen?
